About Helen
Meet Helen, a compassionate Humanitarian, Emergency Nurse, and Paramedic whose heart-driven journey has spanned global disaster zones, from Iraq’s IDP Camps to Nepal’s earthquake aftermath and the Philippines’ Typhoon aftermath. With a profound commitment to healing the world’s most vulnerable, Helen’s altruistic spirit extends to volunteering in Ukraine and responding to the Syrian refugee crisis on Greece’s border.
Hailing from Groote Eylandt, a remote Australian island, Helen’s professional narrative unfolds from her roots to pre-hospital and Emergency Department experiences in Darwin, including her involvement in responding to the Bali Bombings. Recognised globally for her selfless efforts, Helen embodies inspiration that resonates across borders, proving her as a beacon of warmth and resilience in both local and international communities.
